Sidar's Journey
A lifelong sailor with a global outlook, Sidar holds a degree in International Relations from Istanbul Bilgi University.
He developed his expertise in high-end, immersive tourism at Rick Steves—the leading American authority on cultural travel—before successfully launching his own boutique travel agency.
Sidar is also the founding member of the 360 Degrees Historical Research Association and a Board Member of TINA (Turkish Foundation for Underwater Archaeology). In these roles, he directs complex projects in experimental archaeology and traditional maritime construction.
Since 2018, he has been based in London alongside Istanbul, providing strategic consultancy in tourism, hospitality, and business development. His work integrates heritage craftsmanship into modern industry standards.
